How can we help?

G-SNOT replaces our much loved Christen Eagle G-KLAW seen throughout this website. We plan to launch displays in the new higher performance aeroplane towards the Autumn 2025.

Events supported in G-KLAW have included music festivals, motorsport events, grand openings, fetes, steam fairs, model aircraft shows, weddings, birthdays and even funerals.

If you are planning any event we can add a truly memorable spectacle to enhance the occasion.

The aeroplane

G-SNOT is an XtremeAir XA-42 unlimited 2 seat high performance monoplane.

History of G-SNOT

We are the 4th owner of G-SNOT. It was manufactured in Germany and shipped to South Africa in 2012. We purchased it in South Africa in June 2023 and shipped it to the UK.

From purchase to arrival took about 6 months. During the re-build process one or two issues were discovered that required new components from the manufacturer. Unfortunately the last of those components took a year to arrive. Our engineering facility has been superb in supporting the process and incredibly patient with the delays.

Currently we hope to have the aeroplane fully airworthy again in early 2025.

Specifications

The aircraft boasts impressive performance specifications:

  • a remarkable roll rate of 450 degrees per second

  • G limits ±10

  • maximum rate of climb of 3,266 feet per minute

  • maximum take off weight 999kgs

  • maximum range over 1000nm

  • maximum speed 225kts

The Evolution of ZS-BKT to G-SNOT: A Colourful Journey

Explore The aircraft was originally green and blue. It was presented in Red Bull colours during its time on the Air Race circuit. Hamilton watches wrapped it all black for an advert filmed in the Namibian desert. It is currently red white and black.
